Online Therapy

CAT therapists can offer online art therapy to explore personal difficulties in a confidential and supportive environment and to access therapeutic support. Our therapists have experience of providing therapy through audio and video approaches using various online platforms (such as Zoom, Teams and WhatsApp), using computers, tablets and mobile phones. You can discuss which suits you best, and when you wish for therapy to take place. Sessions usually take place weekly but can be more frequent if desired. Our therapist will work in a confidential place that is not overheard from others.

It is important that clients have a private space to talk and access to Wi-Fi if using a video app. Headphones can help with confidentiality, although they are not essential.

Online therapy can help with a wide range of issues including abuse, anxiety, stress, depression, eating difficulties, loneliness, relationship problems, bereavement, self-esteem, sexual orientation, sexual abuse, discrimination, pet bereavement and more. You will be advised if face-to-face counselling, or another form of support might be more suitable for you.
